Fraser Coast Industry & Careers Showcase

An innovative new jobs expo is coming to the Fraser Coast with the aim of being a one-stop employment shop for local jobseekers and businesses, and building a stable long-term workforce for a region on the brink of a boom.

The Fraser Coast Industry and Careers Showcase will take place at the Maryborough Showgrounds on October 12, bringing together employers and trainers with current jobseekers as well as those on the hunt for a new or future career.

The Fraser Coast Industry and Careers Showcase will be open to people of all ages from 1pm – 6pm, with a special focus for secondary students from 10am – 1pm.

The showcase, a partnership between Jobs Fraser Coast and Fraser Coast Regional Council, is open to jobseekers of all ages – from students and school leavers through to people returning to the workforce, looking for a career change or just looking for inspiration.

Fraser Coast Mayor George Seymour said the indoor-outdoor event was the only one of its kind in the region, providing real-world insights into a range of roles through live demonstrations, hands-on experiences and opportunities to talk to industry experts.

This is a fully funded event, proudly sponsored by Jobs Fraser Coast and supported by the Fraser Coast Regional Jobs Committee.
