Clean Up Hervey Bay

Marine debris is one of the greatest threats to marine life.

We are cleaning up after the school holidays! Please join us to remove plastic and other debris from our parks and beaches – before it becomes marine debris!

Turn up at Pier Park, Urangan on Sunday 4 February at 8am to pick up your free Clean Up kits, learn about the Tangaroa Blue Australian Marine Debris Initiative and be a citizen scientist!

Guest Speaker Ali Hammond from Turtles in Trouble Rescue Inc will speak about marine debris and the impact it has on marine life.
Organised by the Pacific Whale Foundation Eco Adventures Australia in collaboration with Turtles in Trouble Rescue Inc, Tangaroa Blue Foundation. Proudly supported by the Fraser Coast Regional Council and Fraser Coast Tourism and Events.

YOU COULD WIN A WHALE WATCH TOUR!!!

Join us for the Clean-Up and go into the draw to win tickets for four people to go whale watching!*
